I have been going to the Russos in Kingwood for a while and has always loved the food there but today I tried the one on kuykendahl and grand parkway location and was so disappointed. It was nothing like I had before. I got my usually chicken parm and sauce was very bland, chicken was overcooked and had way too much cheese, my daughter wanted the chicken fettuccine and said it tasted bland and burnt. I don’t think I will be back to eat there again unless they change the way they cook their food.
Russo's is always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The NY style pizza is yummy - it's the crust that keeps me coming back. More than just pizza - they have tasty salads and NY bakery desserts. The arugula salad has a wonderfully refreshing lemon + olive oil dressing. It's the perfect summer salad. We'll be coming back to try more items on the menu!
Waitress the only one was overwhelmed. Tow ards end of meal another person came in no shirt that said Russo. I assumed he might of been manager as first thing he did was check the register. Did not get bread and oil which is standard and requested. I felt bad that the server was trying her best to take care of everyone to the best of her ability as there were to over 6 parties in addition to the booths being full.
I can't express enough how grateful we are to Fabi and Anthony for making my husband's 30th birthday so incredibly special! From the moment we arrived, they ensured everything was perfect. They set up a beautifully reserved corner for us to celebrate privately, creating an intimate atmosphere that made the day feel even more memorable.
