Brought my Stihl leaf blower in for coil repair and tune up a couple months ago. They are supposedly a certified Stihl repair shop. I also plan to inform ***** about my experience. Paid about $170. When I finally tried it this fall, the coil was still broken and so I brought it back. Bought a ******snow blower from them 2 years ago. Would not start this winter. Took it to Russo in Elgin. Was told on the spot that it needed a carb overhaul, leak in fuel tank and an oil change. Said it would be ready in 2 days. I called on day four and the service advisor said the work was done but it would only run on half choke and would be spitting and sputtering unless I put a new carb on it. Do not bring your machine of any kind to get fixed at this location.. I brought in my snow blower for a tune up that worked perfectly fine and then they called me to tell me that I needed 451 dollars of repair... mind you the new ones they sell are 459... Then to there surprise I said no I will pay the 35 dollar fee and please just give me my snow blower back..
