I recently went to Dr. Rothenberg for the first time for a rather urgent condition. Dr. Rothenberg was knowledgeable, not only in book knowledge, but also in 'practice smarts', a result of seeing and thinking critically about a lot of patients so he knows what works and what doesn't. I am a doctor, (internist) so that would make Dr. Rothenberg a 'doctor's doctor'. He certainly earns the title and his bedside manner is impeccable as well. He can also read an x-ray better than a radiologist.
