Dr.Woodard is very rude. My daughter has gastroparsis ( paralyzed stomach) she requires a feeding tube to get her nutrition. We went today to discuss him putting another one in. He said he would not because my daughter is obese She barely can eat everything makes her stomach upset. With this disease food just sits on your stomach so it makes her symptoms worse like vomiting and extreme nausea and fatigue. She has to get nutrients from some where ( her feeding tube). To have a Dr tell me I don’t need a feeding tube which I already have because I’m obese without knowing my labs or disregarding other possibilities as to why is beyond unprofessional. To blatantly say the only reason I am obese is because of my calorie intake is unprofessional. He was told I barely ate and I don’t take a lot of calories because of my medical condition and still blaming my obesity to my eating habits or calorie intake is unprofessional. Dr Woodard did my original surgery in 2022 he was very knowledgeable. He made the transition from pre-surgery to post surgery very comfortable. I was in a lot of pain but he made me very comfortable with that too. I'm going to be going to surgery again and I'm grateful it's going to be him thank you Doctor what are you the best
Dr Woodard is an excellent surgeon. My procedure went very well and everything was handled in a professional manner. I was back on my feet in no time. I highly recommend him!
