Dr. Cecil is the best orthopedic surgeon in all upstate New York. He is an outstanding, caring, and committed physician. It is enough to check his credentials( graduated from Weill Cornell Medical School). He treated me for a shoulder issue years ago, that was resolved very well. I saw him again recently for a swollen, stiff knee. The same day of the appointment he drained the effusion from the knee joint, and gave me a cortisone shot, which provided me a great relief, since I like to exercise outdoors, and I would like to ke... read more

Dr. Cecil replaced both of my hips. one in March of 2020, the other in August of 2020. I can't say enough about the ease of the procedure and my recovery. I could barely walk prior to my surgeries and now it is like I never had a problem.

Dr.Cecil was wonderful to my mom. He replaced her hip,she was delighted with the outcome. She went back to him for a knee replacement and was so happy with it. I am forever grateful for his kindness and professional care of my mom.

terrible, treats patient like an animal in a pen, could care less, does not admit he makes mistakes, ruined my knee and my shoulder beyond repair, Had to get an educated Dr to clean up some of his mess. Forgot my name and called me another patient, showed me a strangers x rays and talked to me about them. Just terrible butcher!!!

Knew I herniated a disc, went to him to get an MRI because my neurosurgeon wouldn't see me without one. He tried to tell me after an xray that it was degenerative disc disease..."comes from smoking and getting older". I was 30! and had quit smoking a year earlier. I insisted and his attitude was much happier when the results showed that I needed surgery. I took my scans and went to the neurosurgeon. He is a pompous a--. Would never go back to him for anything

He repaired my shoulder in 1991 and it's lasted all these years until I just took a fall and hurt it catching my fall. I could do one arm push ups when he was done after therapy of course. With pleasure I recommend this doctor.
