This doctor killed my dad with a simple procedure to put feeding tube as a precautionary measure for stage 1 esophageal cancer. My dad had three bacterial infections related to this and three stints at Candler for extended period of time and after 1 round of chemo and the bacterial Infection came back, and he eventually died from the complications.. He is terrific! He was highly recommended to me by other doctors, always a good sign. He is truely meticulous in his work with detailed descriptions of work done. Like most of his patients, I had a complicated case with my gall bladder removal, but I had total confidence in his work and all went well. As a bonus he is very personable with a good sense of humor, which also helped my recovery. Needless to say, I am most thankful for his work.
Great physician. Highly skilled and gives excellent advice and information plus great surgery. Did surgery on me this past 'Friday and I'm doing great.
Dr Kirks is the best! He is patient, kind and very thorough. He explains every thing about the processes before and after. If you get a referral to Dr Kirks, you are very lucky. He's the best!
