As an Independent agent/broker; our office uses Russell Bond almost exclusively for our E&S lines (and some admitted) needs. We have great relationships with our underwriters and get the products we need, when we need them. Mike Kraus is by far the fastest and most professional in the business when it comes to a quality underwriter. Encompass Agency, Inc. highly recommends all agents to work with Russell Bond for their E&S needs.
They get 1 star because they did provide the insurance. I have been using them for a couple years for cargo insurance, they never let me know when it is up for renewal, this time they waited 10 days after the policy end date to submit the filings with the dot causing my authority to be suspended by the fmcsa and the state dot. I am seeking a new carrier!
