Dr Russ is an incredibly experienced, knowledgable, patient and compassionate therapist. I had seen several therapists prior to my work with Dr Russ and received only limited benefit. After my first appointment with her I felt heard, understood and validated. With Dr Russ's help I learned about self compassion and acceptance. I now have a much clearer understanding of myself and how I relate to the world. Dr Russ is gentle in her skillful approach leading clients back 'home' to the core of their being.

Had a first time appointment with Helene and caught a bad cold/flu. I was courteous and called her, told her the situation and asked if she’d prefer I don’t come to this appointment. I asked if we should set up an appointment for the future, she said no - wait until you're well. Turns out I developed bronchitis resulting in asthma and I couldn't get the coughing fits under control for almost a month. I didn’t want to risk going into the office and getting Helene sick.
