I recently met Dr Patel for the first time. He took over for my primary care doctor who is still on maternity leave. He put me right at ease, listened carefully to my recent medical issues, asked questions and explained what could be the problem and provided follow-up steps. The office even was able to get me in the same day as my call. That's almost impossible here in Florida.
Had my initial appointment with Lakewood Ranch Medical Group. Waiting area was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant, minimal wait time. Dr Patel took his time discussed a care plan moving forward and was pleasant and professional. As a new patient I would recommend Lakewood Ranch Medical Group and Dr Patel.
This guy is the best doctor!!! So attentive and patient. He spent the time to listen to all my issues and came up with a game plan for me. The guy is SMART!! I finally found a great primary care doc. Dr. Rushiv Patel is a RARE GEM
