I got a phone call one day letting me know that my father was found deceased in his car in a parking lot in Nevada. I was his only child and I had been estranged from him for a few years and to top it off, I live in Southern California. He didn’t have much, but he had a mobile home and enough money in the bank that the only way I could take possession of it, according to the State of Nevada, was through probate court.
