While my doctor was fine, I had a terrible experience with Rush as a trans patient. My nurse seemed completely baffled by the fact I was a trans man and kept asking if I was “really a girl”. When I said I was a trans man she seemed really confused about which direction I had transitioned in and then, after finding out my partner is also a trans man, tried to mark my sexuality as “lesbian” since we were “both girls”. I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Zachary Glasser, and I can confidently say he’s one of the most exceptional professionals I’ve encountered. He took the time to clearly explain everything in a way that made me feel informed and at ease. Not only did he walk me through my options with patience and care, but he also provided medication for some of my concerns and offered helpful tips to manage them.
