I had a basil thumb joint by Dr.Tueting replacement on Feb 6th. Absolutely amazing. Best way to repair a worn out thumb joint. I had previously had my other thumb done with tendon trapeze and this is far superior. No requirement for physical therapy. Just do the exercises Dr. Tueting shows you. March 19th was my final X-rays and everything was fine. No follow up for a year.

I had an appointment on October 3rd, for a high risk pregnancy. I saw Dr. King. In the first five minutes of meeting her I was asked if this pregnancy was "planned or desired," to which I replied it was not planned. She then asked if I was considering termination, I said we hadn't really thought about it. It was almost as if she had made my mind up for me, because she asked if I even wanted to see the ultrasound and if I wanted pictures.
