**updated** Rush Lisle location will not allow you to schedule a mammogram without an order faxed to them. Additionally they will not reach out to your provider to obtain the order. Most Rush locations will do this for you. When will Rush adopt uniform polices/procedures that put patients and their care first? Lisle is completely mismanaged! This place is incredible! My wife received her Radiation Treatments at this location. The staff here is professional, kind, friendly and accommodating. Everyone we meet in passing or in her treatment has a smile and kind words. The Radiation Department was wonderful and the Lab and Urgent care are patient and caring. We now go for her Immunotherapy infusions at this location and receive the same Top Level Care as downtown!
I had my first ever mammogram and ultrasound done at MCAI and was told I needed a biopsy. I left feeling overwhelmed and like something was off, I don’t know why but I did. I was prepared to have a biopsy but I needed to have a second opinion first, to quiet that inner voice that was telling me something wasn’t right. The breast health center is a complete disaster. I had such a disheartening experience even trying to schedule the appointment. The nurse accidentally called me today to obtain an order thinking I was my providers office. They were quite surprised when I said I was the patient, not the provider. They called again a hour later and told they need to cancel my appointment because they don’t have the appropriate order. Rush is so mismanaged and has gone completely downhill.
