The Mobile Farmers Market of Greene County began in the summer of 2005. It is a project of Rural Resources (which is a non-profit organization dedicated to, among other goals, developing a locally sustainable system of producing and marketing agricultural projects). The goal of the Mobile Farmers Market is to give persons who have transportation issues a chance to purchase fresh locally grown produce, while giving our local farmers another outlet for their produce.
