As a AAA Premier member, I called AAA to advise them I needed a tow from my work (Astoria to Long Island). My car was drive-able, but didn't want to take the chance in damaging it more (front driver's side suspension). AAA allows an hour, at least, for a response from the tow company, possibly more if you need a flat bed tow, like I needed. AAA stated 123 Towing would respond.
