We went to Runnymede Venue last night for a wedding. It was an enchanting little spot in the middle of the woods. Despite the bad weather the venue was perfect and the staff were very friendly.
Runnymede was everything we dreamed of for a venue and more. We wanted the Charleston vibes & what better things than Spanish moss, on a river, with ruins & a thousand year old oak tree that makes a perfect ceremony backdrop. Highly recommend this venue, tent on site with a built in floor so that’s just a plus!!

Runnymede is one of Charleston’s most breathtaking wedding venues. There’s truly no other trees like this—it feels like something out of a fairytale. With the Ashley River flowing beside the grounds, it’s the ultimate dreamy Low country setting for a wedding.
