Walked in with my husband on Jan 28, at 11:30 am looking for a pair of shoes to wear walking etc. The female behind the counter completely and thoroughly ignored us while we browsed. My husband started to make small talk to her about some of the online shipments and she barely responded. After trying on a few pair of sale items (because it was self serve) we left. I visited the store on December 5th, hoping to find Hokas or another brand that could accommodate my arthritic feet. When I arrived, the only employee present was deeply engaged with another customer, seemingly trying to solve a phone-related issue. She didn’t acknowledge my presence or offer any communication, such as, “I’m sorry, I’m dealing with a problem right now, but I’ll assist you as soon as possible.” Instead, I was left standing there without any guidance or help. Poor service by female employees
I was obviously quite interested in looking at the shoes while the woman at the till was too busy at who know what at the till area. Finally I decide to leave and then she asks me if I am looking for something!! I said I was interested but am no longer. Now this is not the first time this lady ignores an interested customer. That is why I am writing this. It's not the first time.
Horrible experience. Only one female employee in store so I waited my turn. When I was the only person in the store, she continued to put away shoes. Never offered any help. I had to follow her around asking questions which she was mostly unable to answer. I asked to try some shoes at which point another customer walked in and she ignored me and asked if she could help them! I was fully prepared to buy a pair of ASICS that day, but instead just walked out. Never again. Don't waste your time at Running Room Guelph!
