Runners Roost The clothing and shoes here are so marked up it's ridiculous. The employees are rude and condesending. When I checked out, the woman that rung me up talked on her cell phone and never even said one word to me. Awful!
Worthless Advice That You Will Pay Dearly For After a 15 second analysis of my son's stride, they incorrectly determined that he needed a shoe for overpronation. 6 weeks later, we now are facing several visits to a physical therapist to undo the damage that the wrong shoe has caused. He should have been placed in a neutral shoe. Worthless advice - consider yourself warned!!

Run, Don't Walk, to This Store Runners Roost specializes in running shoes and apparel. The salespeople are very knowledgeable, and take the time to individually measure your feet for to find the best running shoe for you. They do have a treadmill so they can analyze your running style, but you have to make sure and ask to use it.
Runners Roost is in need of some smiling faces! After a few trips to this store, I am not misjudging that customers are not returning here for the customer service. I was barely spoken to, and the ladies working seemed disturbed by my being there. After I asked, the saleswoman did help, but only minimally (and barely spoke, much less smiled). Excellent care for your running needs! This place is all about the runner. From beginners who need help finding analyzing their gate and finding a shoe, to experienced runners looking for new races, gadgets or high tech gear. It's not the cheapest place to shop, but here, you're paying for the knowledge of the staff. It's worth it.
Friendly Staff I visited the Roost for their run club. There were only 2 other people there to run (which was disappointing) and both of them worked for the store. Despite their superior running abilities, they ran my pace, made me feel at home, and took the time to show me around the store. The place had everything a runner would want and good staff to help you find exactly what you need for your running. I highly recommend the Roost!
Runners Roost - Aurora I went into this store to be fitted for shoes for the 3-Day 60 mile walk. There were 2 staff members working and I was the only customer in the store. They had me take about 5 steps (not on the treadmill) and then brought out a pair of shoes. I ended up trying 5 or 6 pair on but that was at my request. The employees looked to be in high school and I didn't feel that they were trained that well. They didn't show me around the store to show me what else they had to offer me.
