It is cool to ride a coaster in the darkness. The exterior of the building is neat too. Be prepared for the hard brake at the end of the ride.
Pretty fun rollercoaster, it is pitch black so you can’t see anything. But I wouldn’t recommend it over rollercoasters like Mr. Freeze, Joker, Texas Giant, or Titan.
Runaway Mountain is seriously underrated and one of the best rides at Six Flags. The indoor setup makes it way more intense than people expect, and the twists and drops in the dark keep it fun every single time. The best part is there’s basically no wait most of the time, so you can ride it back-to-back without spending half your day in line. If you want a great coaster that’s fast, different, and doesn’t have crazy lines, Runaway Mountain is a must.
This ride is a lot more forceful than expected. There is nothing wrong with this ride, it's just not worth long wait sometimes.
