Rumsey deserves a 5-star review for the work they did on our home. We had a water leak in the upstairs bathroom that leaked down into our kitchen. It was a big job and Rumsey’s repair and communication throughout the process was top notch (especially Stephen Appell, the project manager). Stephen was quick to respond and address all our concerns asap and the repair work was of high quality. Would (and will) recommend Rumsey to my friends and neighbors anytime.

We had our kitchen remodel done by Rumsey, they handled the project promptly and were responsive for each step of the process. Stephen Appell was a great project manager and kept us in the loop the entire time.

Rumsey worked with us to remediate after a water leak in the drywall behind our kitchen sink, as well as the reconstruction effort afterwards. The mitigation/remediation process was a struggle. Some of the issues were due to insurance, but this part of the process was also plagued with communication issues with Rumsey. Oftentimes, our calls/emails to them were never returned, and we had to continue pushing Rumsey for a response or to get them to follow-up with insurance (as they had promised but didn’t always do). Unlike other restoration companies I have had to deal with in Charlotte, Rumsey construction was a breath of fresh air. Josh Byrd (regional manager) was fantastic to work with. He was communicative, transparent, and was willing to work with me on my project as I was paying out of pocket. Would absolutely recommend Rumsey and work with them again!
