Missed trash 2 weeks in a row, and 3 out of four pickups this month. We called to tell them and they lied and said they'd send someone out later in the week but never did. Now they're trying the same lie for the second week in a row. Their customer's service is worthless and they do nothing to address problems.

They have flat out forgotten to pick up trash or recycling multiple times. They leave trash everywhere when “picking” up curbside. The customer service is practically non existent if there’s an issue. They charge excessive fees for pickup and can rentals. You might be better off opting out of service and hauling garbage yourself to the local bins.

I am disappointed with Rumpke's customer service regarding a missed recycling pickup. On June 17, recycling was not collected for my entire subdivision. At approximately 4:30 p.m., I contacted the City of Columbus to report the issue and was required to open a 311 request. The city representative advised that Rumpke was still working and might return later that day. Unfortunately, no pickup occurred. Just wanted to drop a note that the crew servicing us is amazing! They are always aware of the weather. They turn our cans upside down so they don't collect water and put our cans farther down our driveway, upside down, with bad winds because they know they will otherwise blow into the road. Hardworking, considerate crew. Thankful for you!

Customer service reps have been polite and courteous for every call I've phoned in. I am ANOTHER unsatisfied Galloway customer, since Rumpke bought Alpha Waste its been nothing but issues with being serviced. Not only is the price higher than Alpha was, but the service is lacking. Glad that where I am moving to puts me in range for Local Waste, plus its 10 bucks cheaper.
