I contacted Richard for minor repairs to several pieces of antique furniture in my home. Richard promptly agreed to take on this task and communicated frequently and clearly throughout the process. His work fixing veneer damage, refreshing a marble tabletop and re-hanging a wayward armoire door was done with great knowledge and precision. A pleasure to deal with and a true find for antique collectors in need of skillful repairs and restorations.

One of the finest antique restorers you will ever find. His knowledge of how pieces were originally constructed and finished spans the centuries. He was taught by the masters and can apply their techniques without fault. Our family were thrilled with the restoration work.

Richard is amazing! I have an old chair that had some areas w significant damage and Richard was very upfront about what could be done, and clear about cost.. along with what was most practical given the piece. I am so, so happy w the outcome!! Highly recommend!! Thanks again :)

Our large Ibizan Hound collided with a Georgian table and dislodged a leg. Worse still, the break was not clean; the veneer was left hanging in shards. Enter Richard Rumi who performed an absolutely flawless restoration, leaving no sign of the break. Now the table looks like new after Richard waxed it to perfection.
