Chose Rumbling Bald Resort for a 2026 vaca with a bit of concern as to whether they recovered from hurricane Helene. Resort amenities are back 100% without hint of Helene's impact. We went in 2021 and 2023 prior to Helene and the lake, beach, bars, restaurants, pools, golf, gym, hiking, tennis, kayaking etc had no observable hint of prior damage. Crowds were down from our prior trips but no reason for uncertainty as all aspects in the resort were at pre-Helene status. Restaurants and activities outside the resort were normal... read more
