Mindy and her staff are what you want in a cycle studio; they are knowledgable, friendly, encouraging, and professional. The studio is kept very clean and all the equipment is well maintained. The instructors ("cycle pros") come prepared with a wide variety of playlists often focused on a fun theme. The workouts are focused with resistance band training incorporated in as well as choreography on the bike.
The Durbin location has a great manager that is very friendly and a female veteran (!!). The classes are about 45-50 minutes and are led by instructors that are friendly and very upbeat. The staff was very helpful since this was my first time and I definitely got a great workout. We rented shoes with no additional charge and lockers were available at no charge as well. Rukus in St Johns is an amazing community to be a part of. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a hello, and help whenever needed. They offer multiple different times to fit any part of you schedule. Shoutout to the best cycle pros Sam, Ashley, Fowler, Alexis, and Nicole!!!
RUKUS IS IT (!!!) i have never had so much fun in a spin class than at rukus. everybody is so welcoming & the environment is so positive and uplifting. sam pushes me to my hardest, even when i think i’ve reached my max. my favorite nights are rukus nights!
