I had to go to the ER after having an abscess lanced and drained. By that night I was running a 101° temp which was quite concerning to me. The pain was pretty bad too. This doctor called me in triage ...took my temp and said I will give you one hydrocodone and you can follow up in the morning with your doctor. #1 he didn't address my concerns about my fever and #2 it was Friday so no I couldn't follow up the next day! I felt like I was in their way and a nuisance even though they get paid to do their job!
