Simple little spot for a one night stay. Owner was very nice and we got a spot right up front for easy access. It’s a quaint location in a residential neighborhood and our view had a grassy lawn and huge pine tree. At night the owners have a small but nice light show on their porch and if you look out you may spot “Jane Doe” the resident deer who wonders the RV park. It is a great RV park with large shade trees and close to the ruins. It's very dog friendly and next to the Animas River for long walks. No community restrooms or showers, but wifi is provided at no extra cost.

Shari is the best host of any campground I've ever stayed at. We were going to be a bit late getting in, so I sent an email. She was willing to stay open until we got there. The campsite was next to the river and was amazing!

For the price … This is a great little campground, nice large pull thru sites, it has a mix of full timers and travellers. The office staff are friendly and helpful. A nice quiet safe place to stay. Best of all the internet was amazingly fast.

Stayed overnight on my way home. Quick and efficient check in, everything worked great, including the Wi-Fi. Hosts were very kind. Only thing I can complain about is the dogs at the neighboring trailer park barking in the evening, but that subsided before about 9 in the evening. 10/10, would stay again.
