As native of the Wakefield section of the Bronx, the name 'F Ruggiero & Sons' has been a brand I have known for decades. I use to pass the former location on White Plains Road (close to East 237th Street) as a small boy everytime I went grocery shopping with my late mother during the 1980s. I cannot say enough about the incredible care and compassion we received from Ruggerio and Sons during one of the most difficult times of our lives.
