What a hidden gem! The food was absolutely incredible. Patrick was so kind and welcoming, even though the AC was out when we visited. We were hungry and decided to stay, and I'm so glad we did. I ordered the "Create Your Own Dish" option, and we also shared the Chicken Marsala. Both were outstanding. We ordered a large catered dinner from Ruffino’s this weekend and couldn’t be happier with the food and service. They helped us determine what quantities were needed, worked with me over phone and text to finalize details and make last-minute adjustments, and delivered piping hot food exactly when requested. Food was delicious and we’ll definitely use them again.
This place is very cozy and been around for at least 20 years so that alone tells you the food has to be good! You can taste the home made quality’ the sauces makes the difference and the seem to pay attention to quality the portions are generous!
Ruffino's is an Arlington mainstay. And many are the dinners my wife and I have enjoyed there. Memorable are mussels (ask for red sauce), the soups (particularly the minestrone ) are tasty, the chicken parm is as good as you will find. The decor is basic. The drinks are tall. With just a dash of background music, the establishment is quiet enough that you can easily converse. Service is attentive and friendly. Prices are on the low side for drinks and food.
