I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Ruetzel and staff. For years I had been wanted permanent sterilization and researched it heavily, and when I finally got good insurance I decided to go down the list of childfree doctors in the area (there is a list on Reddit)! Unfortunately I've had to edit my review to reflect my current care at this practice. I've been coming here for 6+ years and have typically had an easy time, Dr. Ruetzel was always kind, caring, and a great listener. Now it feels like he blows off any concerns you express with "well if it's been going on for this long, it may be your new normal! 😊". I had an appointment scheduled for an annual pap recently for 5:20pm, one of the last appts of the day. I get there at 5pm to make sure I fill out all the paperwork they need. T... read more
I enjoyed the staff there, very warm. I never saw Dr. Ruetzel until today. He offered advice on how to navigate my concerns about pregnancy, offering genuine solutions not cookie cutter responses. He never rushed the appt. My many other experiences in gynecology have been on the express train, so this was much appreciated :)
Dr. Ruetzel is an exceptional physician who truly cares about his patients. I felt completely comfortable sharing my concerns with him, and he took the time to walk me through the process thoroughly. I was feeling frustrated, but he listened with compassion and provided a clear treatment plan to start with, allowing us to escalate care only if necessary.
