They are rude expensive and make mistakes. Not worth it.
Due to a technical error made by the person who filed our 2017 taxes, I found out today that a large refund from 2017 has now mushroomed into a humongous payment to the Feds AND Virginia to correct the error, PLUS interest penalties. We're talking mid 5-figures here. R&A offered to not charge me for doing my taxes this year. Thanks a lot (that was meant to be sarcastic).
Rue and Associates have the best trained staff for accounting functions. If you want it done right and if you are struggling with a " home made" accountant , stop, save yourself the upcoming pain of that IRS audit Do it right Do it now I have used their resident " genius" for over 35 years and as a result have never met an IRS agent I didn't love. If you can't say that , call them now!
