I had two antique braided rugs from the 1920’s. I was told that they would be treated special. They came back to me with the edges all frayed and dirt still coming from the fibers. When I spoke to Rudy’s I was treated with such disrespect and basically blamed for my rugs being in that condition. The guy on the phone was very rude. He said there was nothing more to discuss. Great response, picked up and delivered- results were astonishing!!!
Back in 2010 or so, Rudy's was great. But, in 2016 when I took 4 carpets in for cleaning, they came back with pieces of leaves, seeds from trees, and grass rolled up in them. A newer one (100% wool) had been rubbed in places and its surface was uneven. Very disappointed and looking for another rug cleaner!
Whenever I get second hand rugs off of Craigslist, I always bring them to Rudy's Rug cleaning. I was so please when they also agreed to help clean the rugs of my daughter's non-profit preschool - Molly Michie Preschool. Thank you for being such a community-oriented small business!
Received my "clean" rug, and as I laid it out it had leaves and debris all over one and dog hair all over the other. After calling in and complaining, all they could offer me was for ME to bring it back in to get it vacuumed. No refund, no care or concern. Extremely poor customer service.
