Dr. Ruchita Thakor Patel, DO deserves to have a negative rating. I wish I could give her - 10 stars. I was a patient here for over a year. When I went in I felt belittle and as though I am new to diabetes, however I have had diabetes for the past 30 years. I continued with the office and Dr. Patel just because it was easy and I have a good PCP. Eventually, my prior authorization paperwork expired. Dr. Patel is amazing. I have never met someone that is kindhearted, and truly caring. Her knowledge in medicine is superb. There should me more doctors like her in the world. Highly recommend.
I have never in my life had a doctor tell me that they weren't experienced enough in their profession to treat my illness, until now. When I asked this doctor if my condition would go away, her response was, "I hope so". She relied more on hope in her words than prescribing me my medication that I was already on that was proven to work. Even though the medication that I came to her already using worked, she canceled that script and would not represcribe me my meds.
