Ordered chicken chopseuy and i could tell right away that they served us not freshly cooked chopsuey. The food served could be a day or more old. The veggies were dark, the chicken were dark. The chicken bones were chopped that small bone fragments could get stuck in your throat. If they serve this kind of food to their customers then their service is terrible. Not going back here again.
Used to go here as a regular (only don't now as cost of living is so high by itself 😭); their filipino BBQ is consistently the best in Chicago! I've been going since I was a baby before they moved locations; very much my Filipino comfort food. Already posted review on Yelp but wanted to post here too!
Incredible lechon kawali and bangus. Perfectly crispy and such generous portions! Service was great as well
I went to school with Nickie... More years ago than I would like to admit. I knew he was involved with this somehow and always wanted to stop but we live quite far away . We decided to stop because we were just in town to catch a flight out and wanted to grab some takeout. So glad we did!!! It will absolutely be our go-to place every time we come to the area! Decent filipino food, would go back to try different item. Like: 1. Generous portion. Lots of garlic rice, you'll be sure to walk out full. 2. Good lumpia, garlic rice, and pancit bihon. Dislike: 1. Took a while for someone to get our order. Had to flag someone that we're ready to order.. 2. Ordered Tapsilog, but the beef is not quite right. It was cube strips rather than thinly sliced beef.
