Ruby Begonias in Chittenango is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, the service was spot on—friendly, attentive, and professional—and the food was outstanding from start to finish. We started with the pork belly appetizer, which was excellent. For dinner, I had the smothered pork with mashed potatoes and slow-cooked green beans. This restaurant just celebrated 1 year and it's fantastic. The food is excellent, the owners are very welcoming and the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Until discovering this amazing hidden gem of a restaurant, I would never eat southern cuisine, unless in the deep south or New Orleans. Galatoire’s restaurant on Bourbon Street New Orleans is a penultimate example of heightened southern cuisine. Hosted a dinner presentation, and the service was immaculate, food delicious, and over all atmosphere and experience was one of a kind.
We had visited The Oz Museum and Dina suggested we try Ruby Begonia’s located directly across the street. What a magical dining experience we had for the Sunday brunch menu. Every one should come out on a Sunday for the elegant dining experience. Delicious food and adult beverages along with mocktails. My family and I will definitely return soon.
