A century ago, my grandfather, Ben Rubin came to Madison, Wisconsin from Russia and opened the very first Rubin’s Furniture. Ben’s two sons, Isadore Rubin and David Rubin were the 2nd generation of Rubins. In 1932 Isadore and David opened Badger Furniture, a modest store in downtown Madison. Visited Rubin’s Furniture on Whitney Way in Madison (also went to Badger Lane location). Love their selection of unique, high quality furniture. We have a number of pieces from Rubin’s from when they also had a Milwaukee location. Today we purchased a new, powered leather couch. Friendly, attentive staff. Well worth the drive. I wish they would come back to Milwaukee!
The lovely staff at Rubin's went out of their way to make sure my 92 yo mother got the chair she needed. I'm grateful and recommend Rubin's wholeheartedly.
Arne was a big help. He was patient as we shopped. Once we made up our minds, he directed us towards a similar chair for a better price. He also handled our return from a previous visit without complaint. Thanks Arne.
