Rubia is new this year in Stone Harbor, in the former Marabella's location right off 96th Street on 3rd Ave (doors down from Springer's Ice Cream). We were on our annual friends beach weekend after Labor Day and decided to try it because the menu looked great and we wanted to try something new. Best meal I have had in awhile. We had the scallops and risotto. Scallops were large and fresh and the risotto was excellent. We also had the New York strip steak with potatoes. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Way better than the steak I had at primal. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. Excellent food and great service.
Second time here and it's getting better every time. Last night the meal of steak was cooked to perfection as were the scallops. The apps(small plates)were great too. Staff is friendly and efficient also the owner is very involved on customer engagement!
