Very compassionate and knowledgeable physician. I strongly recommend Dr. Ayala to anyone looking for a reliable and proffesional primary care physician.
Good
Dr Ayala treated my mother for years before her passing. He and his staff were very attentive to her needs and were always quick to respond. She received excellent and caring attention to her many needs. As she was elderly, his staff went out of their way to make sure she was seen quickly. Meanwhile, I too started seeing Dr Ayala as my primary and find him very responsive and attentive to my health needs. His staff is always friendly and receptive to one’s specific requirements.
First visit did not get an appointment time even when I requested. It is based on first come first serve. Waited in the office for over 2 hours to get called. Then the assistant doctor spent more time on the computer than finding out the issues I was facing. Then told me to come back to get my blood withdrawn because she needed more info. Next appointment, she couldn't even see me! Only see this doctor if you have time to waste.
I never see the doctor, despite making all my appointments with him. I'm always passed on to the ARNP that works with him, who is a terrible diagnostician. She once prescribed me with a strong antifungal medication (which is terrible for the liver) for what she believed to be ringworm (and looked nothing like it). She got the dosing off Wikipedia right in front of me! Turns out it was an allergic reaction, but I ended up spending $350 at urgent care to have proper treatment prescribed. Terrible!
I've come twice to the office with an appointment and every single time I've waited 3 hours. The wait is horrible because it is very cold, everybody has to wear a sweater which is completely absurd.
He is a great doctor. I would recommend him anytime!
Wonderful Physician. Takes time to listen to you and understand your problem. Takes appropriate steps to make feel better and explains what he's doing. Personality is so down to earth that makes you feel very comfortable while taking to him to explain you problem even though one would not be using any medical terminology but just plain English words. Great Doctor, very happy with him.
