The reception staff at Ruatahi are incredibly rude, treating elderly patients poorly. There are many ways to convey a message without resorting to humiliation or belittlement. It's disappointing to see this behaviour, especially in a healthcare setting. Based on other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue. This clinic is overpriced and lacks the empathy and compassion patients need during difficult times. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.
Disrespectful and racist staff Multiple episodes of rudeness, racial stereotyping and code of conduct breaches. -Fear mongering if I refused/questioned care - refusing repeat scripts and hanging up when I wouldn't spell each drug when I was post-op from eye surgery (never asked to spell prior) - making appointments is difficult, and have shown up to appointments only to find "they were never booked" - assumed to be a drunk/druggie - trying to force treatment without informed consent and withholding the fact I have the right ... read more
