Fabulous company. I highly recommend Ruane Contracting. We have used Ruane Contracting for three separate jobs: our long slate front walkway; our front patio which had been sinking; and extensive work to our leaking chimney. I cannot say enough great things about Chris and his company. Not only are they highly responsible and dependable but they are total artisans. Aggressive driving. The light just turned green and he laid on the horn. Probably high or drunk. I watched him cut off a car, only to sit behind another at a red light. Be careful with this company.
I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. It is very difficult to find contractors with his knowledge of masonry and attention to detail these days. If you want to have something handcrafted out of actual stone, you will not be disappointed. His knowledge of local stone and the quarries to source it is unparalleled.
