After another company did a no call no show, I took a chance with RT’S, and it was a great experience. I live an hour away from the property so communication was key and they did a wonderful job. Called to let me know when they were an hour out, the tech was in a hot attic but took his time and explained to me what was wrong with the furnace. Our second post. Shane came out on Thursday because our air conditioning was not working, he worked long, discovering that a mouse had gotten into the capacitor, electrocuting itself, and messing up the motor. Poor Shane showed back up on Friday @ 8:50 pm to install the motor, worked until almost midnight. He said he was not going to leave until he got us back up and running, mentioning at it is suppose to get up to 100. That is dedication. Knowing all the while he had to be at a Big Job at 5:30 am. Our unit froze up- I called RT’s because they were locally owned and said they were Vet owned. My unit was diagnosed with a bad coil. I was told they could replace the whole unit for cheaper than a coil itself.. I agreed ( almost $4000) . Once installed I was told that they had to bypass a defrost board to get the unit to work. Then they came out a few times in the next couple weeks because it still wasn’t working. They installed a unit for me a couple days ago so far so good. The crew was very professional, polite, and left no mess. They have very reasonable rate. Could work on communication, but I have no other complaints
Wow! Thank you to Ryan and his team for getting us some heat in a professional, timely manner!! We had been without or furnace for 5 weeks due to RUUD/RHEIM not supplying and/or producing replacement parts for existing customers. Only for new customers purchasing new units. BUYER BEWARE!! After 5 weeks of a consistent run around from RUUD/RHEIM with no end in site, we decided to replace the furnace with a totally different manufacturer.
