Love playing the Trail. Have played the Judge before. Terrific layout. But the team has done a terrific job of screwing it up. Circus speeds on the greens. Putts backing up a foot from the hole. Four low-handicap guys leaving disappointed. Understand there may be a renovation coming. Suggest avoiding until that happens.
Everything I imagined golfing at an Alabama course would be- this place delivers. It’s beautiful, METICULOUSLY groomed, and reasonably priced. I loved everything about it. From the duel staircase in the entrance of the clubhouse to the wraparound porch overlooking cypress trees and magnolias. It’s lovely and I can’t wait to come back!
