I used to find Mercury affordable and had great customer service. However, recently they have been charging me $300-$400 more per car. I dont understand why when I have a clean record, no accidents, and only drive my cars within the area. 2 of my cars have less than 5,000 miles and im paying close to $700. My cars arent luxury either! It doesnt sound or feel right at how they keep increasing the prices every so often. I've been able to afford Mercury's insurance they offer the best deal for insurance for your needs
While this individual insurance company have excellent customer services,( I have been with them for quite a few years) The main company Mercury Insurance billing dept I would rare with a 1 out of 10, when it comes to refunding it takes them forever, I made a change March 2, it's now March 21, and still no refund. I have delt with other companies, such as Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe's, and have received my difference in refund the very next day, So what is going on with Mercury Ins? VERY POOR.
