Im going to give them 3 stars and this is why. For as large as RRH is there really should be a place you can get hearing aides from that is apart of RRH. There used to be in Webster but they no longer have a place. The 3 stars in no way is associated with the kindness and professionalism of the staff and Otolaryngology office or Doctor. That would be 5 stars.
Had an appointment scheduled for today for my son, when we got there we were told that the appointment that was scheduled on April 28th had been cancelled on May 4th, and that they had called him and left a message. Which they did not. He checked his call history and voicemails… nothing. He asked about getting a new appointment for soon, they handed him a sheet of paper with Audiologist offices around Rochester. My first impression with the Access Associates at the front desk was subpar. I was standing there waiting to be acknowledged to check in. Nobody said I’ll be with you in one second or even hello. There were at least 3 working. One was on the phone so I understood she couldn’t greet me. But the other 2 said nothing! Andre who finally did check me in was not friendly at all. Doctor and Staff were great. Only negative remark I have is that they need a better cleaning service!
My 12 month old daughter got ear tubes put in last week after 5 consecutive ear infections. Her appointment was set for 10:30, said so on my confirmation paper. Arrival time for procedure that we got the day before was 645am. They bumped her appointment up without asking or even telling me. 5 days after the procedure she developed bloody drainage from one of the ears and a fever, and the post op instructions specifically say that this is NOT normal after 48 hours.
