Worked for Claude Royster,..Skip's Dad. That was great. Learned much about construction and Claude Royster is a good man. Can not say the same for Claude's son Skip Royster. Please build your Metal building elsewhere. Trust me. Sincerely DGWJR

Use to work for Royster Construction when Skip Royster's dad,.. Claude Royster was in charge. Worked for him from 1984 thru 1887. Claude was a good man.Treated his workers with respect, kindness and a awesome sense of humor. Claude treated his contractors the same and they respected Claude Royster. Claude taught me alot back then. He taught me how to overcome my fear of heights. Now I can walk iron, even though I'm now 64 and retired, I can still walk iron. When Claude retired I left. Not good! They were not willing to give ANY information. Was told need to have the land before any kind of estimate on price can be given. A rough estimate of price is needed to know if it's doable or if I need to continue searching for land with an existing building in place. Can't buy land and then hope there is enough left in the budget to build. Realizing an exact price, especially with rapidly changing prices isn't possible, an idea of cost is needed to go forward. Reached out to Skip Royster to ask for a quote on a construction project. Told Skip this is a commercial project. He said, "we don't do residential." I reiterated that it was a commercial project and told him that it was a small project. He chuckled and said, "We don't do anything small." When asked for recommendations for other contractors, he said, "I wouldn't recommend anyone I know for a small project." Very rude and unhelpful.
