The J. W. Marriott is huge. Some of the staff even gave wrong or confused directions when asked where things were. I think some of them found the size overwhelming. However, once you get oriented the rooms are nicely done with typical Marriott comfortable bedding. We were there at the end of November during a hard and long rain storm that is not the weather you'd expect in the desert.
