I had my little 16yo chihuahua euthanized at this clinic on March 25th. Two years ago I had an absolutely wretched euthanasia experience at a different clinic, and as such felt very stressed about going thru this again. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Royle Vet Clinic. Dr Shattuck and staff were incredibly kind, compassionate, and knowledgable. The euthanasia was very calm and peaceful. Edited to add the contacted my mother-in-law and refunded her the deposit. I will change to a 3-star from one star. Beware as they kept our deposit with over a month's notice of cancelation. We canceled oral surgery because they charge twice as much as other local vets. Needless to say, they lost our family of 3 dogs and two cats.

I have been taking my pets to Royle for a couple of years, but only for routine well visits and vaccinations. While I do like Dr. Shattuk, this office and their many “policies” are not client centric, and the front office staff has always rubbed me the wrong way. On my last visit, they were downright rude. Late last year, my dog was scheduled for a very costly elective procedure, and I ended up going elsewhere to have it done because of the way I was treated (they even tried to keep my deposit on procedure they cancelled). Probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a vet clinic. The entire team was kind, patient, and truly took the time to listen to my concerns about my dog instead of rushing us. I felt respected and supported, and they worked with me to create a plan that made sense for his health. I’m so grateful to have found this clinic and highly recommend them to anyone who cares deeply about their fur baby.
