My husband and I live locally and cannot help but notice this alluring hotel each time we pass by, but on this particular day we simply could not help but be swept up in its elegant embrace! As soon as we stepped through the doors it was as if we had stepped back into an era of opulence and grandeur we had long believed extinct here in Melbourne!! Miguel on the front desk(aka George Michael) was delightful, the staff in the conference and even the hotel GM was walking around talking to guests. Superb!

Excellent place to stay. Service was excellent and very friendly and efficient staff. Just one thing of note is all their prices for rooms, restaurant, and breakfast are excluding GST so add 10% to all their listed prices. A bit of a surprise at checkout.

We only had one night in Melbourne and stayed at the Royce ( which we have stayed at previously) It did not disappoint . Our room was very comfortable and the staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome and valued. À la carte breakfast was elegant and delicious. A special shout out to the Showtime bar where we had dinner. We did not have any expectations as hotel restaurants are not often especially good.
