It’s disappointing to see that the owner’s attitude hasn’t changed over time. They’ve always come across as snippy and dismissive, which makes the entire experience unpleasant. As a business owner, professionalism and respect should come first, yet that continues to be lacking here. It’s unfortunate because the skill is there, but the attitude continues to overshadow the work. Hopefully, they take this feedback seriously and learn that customer service matters just as much as talent.

I got my starter locs retwisted and it coats $125 even though I have pretty short hair and only needed a retwist. The staff was kind. Though I do feel like my hair wasn’t washed properly and there is a lot of white residue from the retwist that is not going away. Also, I was definitely overcharged. While the quality of work was decent, it was definitely not five star. They did accept walk-ins, so I do have to give them a star solely for that.
