Weren’t able to rent out my unit and are harassing me about payment. Made up a reason “couldnt get photos of the unit” as justification for putting the contract on hold even though they had access to the unit and did showings
They took our property for 3 months did not find a tenant. Once we found one ourselves they charged us $3500. They left the propert vacant causing us to take a hit then demanded a fee for finding a tenant ourselves then threatened legal action. They will extort you however they can i’d stay very far away from these scammers
Know your rights before dealing with this company. Section 134 of the residential tenancies acts states no fee or key deposit can be charged to the tenant. At the bottom it's stated this includes property managers. They insist on charging two fees (added together and called "verification fee") and a key deposit even after pointing out this is in breach of the act.
They located me a good tenant but the main issue I had is I had 3 changes in account manager. There seems to be no accountability within organization. I negotiated $50 discount on setup fee with Edi. Then he was no longer managing my account and Valmira acknowledged this and said accounting will do it but more then a month has passed and she doesn't even return my calls anymore.
