Waiting nearly 10 hours for care is unacceptable. This is the second time my wife and I have come to this hospital, and both times we’ve waited more than 8 hours before receiving any attention. I understand that patients have different levels of urgency, but the system should not ignore the pain and frustration people are experiencing. If private clinics were available, at least we would have the option to choose. Right now, it feels like the only ones benefiting are the parking services.

I was admitted to the hospital last Wednesday-Sunday. From the Emergency Room to the Surgery Team, everyone was amazing. The nurses, cca’s, custodians and doctors. They were patient, kind, helpful and compassionate throughout my stay. Even though I saw some patients being unkind and quite frankly just plain rude, the staff stayed professional and caring. Went in via ambulance for heart attack symptoms. Blood pressure hit 200/110. Had 6 vials of blood drawn (5 minutes to complete), 2 blood pressure readings (5 minutes to complete), 2 Ecg tests (2 minutes to complete) and 2 xrays (10minutes to complete). 22 minutes of testing, and then another 11 hrs of waiting to get told "it was "probably" severe anxiety attack caused by stress, you can go home".
